Test-Run Tuesday

Instead of going out to my school sponsored happy hour last Friday, I decided to stay in and sew a bunch of pencil cases. Why pencil cases, you ask? Well because Brian got me 1/8th of a yard of a whole bunch of fabrics for Christmas, and I can't figure out what else to do with them. And while my evening was joyfully spent crafting these colorful bags, I certainly don't need 5 pencil cases, so I'm giving four away. All you have to do is post below or send me an email to let me know which one you want, and it will make its way to your hot little hands.

Whats the catch? The catch is that these little bags are far from perfect.

I've done my best to highlight the problems below so that you can determine whether or not you actually want something of such poor craftsmanship (I'm still learning how to sew, give me a break!). Click the picture to the left to see a close up of what you're getting yourself in to.

And in these sad little pencil cases' defense, I think they're neat and the missing stitches and oddly shaped ends kind of add to the homemade feel. If you think the same, then you're in luck!

I would love one! (Unless you think the owl fulfills my Mari-stuff quota for the moment.) I could totally use a little pencil-sized bag for some special non-pencil things. Can I claim the green one with "wonky corners"?

Mari,
These are so cute and you are so creative and talented! If you haven't found a home for the one w/ apples, I'd love to adopt it! While it doesn't have any "problems" I also am of the camp of finding beauty in life's imperfections. You are amazing.

Hey A,
I would be happy to give it to you, but as I know quite a few people whose names start with A, I can't figure out who you are!
